Each Sunday morning there are 2 ladies who visit the lady inmates at Dale County Jail. The ministry for these women is assisted by different churches. The lady inmates come of their own choice.

On Sunday am there is scriptures read with a discussion that then closes with the women’s prayer requests.

This entire ministry is totally volunteer. No questions are asked of the crimes or their names. Their privacy is to be respected at all times. Usually there are 10+ women in each session.

On Monday pm a lesson is studied with the lady inmates. They are allowed to speak of anything with the honor system of confidence in which their privacy is protected. The volunteers help them by calling family & friends, writing letters, etc. These volunteers are trying to help these ladies get back to a good place in their life: starting with helping them learn of our Lord.

The women are allowed to have paperback books only. They are allowed to have soft cover Bibles. The daily needs for this ministry are ruled loose leaf paper, envelopes and stamps.

*** Any Reading Glasses and soft cover Bibles are NEEDED, if you could donate one please see Mary Anne Cutlip***

If you are interested in being part of this ministry, please contact the church office.
