Nursing Home Ministry

There are many different outreach programs within each nursing home within Ozark. We have a lady and a youth that go to Oakview and call Bingo each Thursday at 4pm. Anyone is encouraged to come participate. The true blessing of any Activity is received by each visitor.
We send different baskets for various holidays but other ministry teams is our WMU and “Sisters in Christ”. The residents receive hand made cards by the preschool Sunday school classes, GA’s and Mission Friends. Different members hand deliver these cards to each Nursing Home before the special Holiday.
If you want to see true joy, let that resident love on the child that is assisting with the delivery of the cards. The happiness of a child’s hug is priceless .
There are GREAT needs for more visitors at both Nursing Homes in Ozark. Each resident truly loves and appreciates every conversation, visitor, reading of the Bible and especially prayers. The residents are remarkable people with so much to offer to each of us if given the opportunity.
