Wednesday and Sunday Night Activities

Wednesday Night

6:00 – Youth Bible Drills  -   2nd and 4th Weeks of the Month

(These practices will teach youth to find books, chapters and verses in the Bible quickly and accurately.  They also have to memorize Bible verses and will be in a yearly competition.)

6:50 – Youth Fellowship Time

7:00 – Group Bible Study – Grades 7 – 12

(This is for both boys and girls and is led by the Youth Pastor.)

Sunday Night

Youth Choir meets at 5 PM in the choir room.

(The choir is totally made up of youth and they sing Contemporary Music that is relevant to their age group.  It is led by the Minister of Music, Ricky Bruner.)

Mission Statement

It is our mission as the youth of Southside Baptist Church to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28: 18 – 20.

And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
