A Word From The Pastor

Thank you for your interest in the fellowship of believers here at Southside.

Having grown tired of church as usual, being frustrated by the lack of divine power in most of what is commonly called church, and saddened by the fact that lives were not being impacted and forever changed by the miraculous power of Christ, we have committed to God to go in a different direction.

No longer will our focus be on that which can be produced by human effort.

In all that we do from our singing to our service, from our worship to our work, from our praise to our prayer, our focus is and will be on our blessed Savior Jesus.

Our commitment is to the one who called us out of our sin and into new life in Him, and commissioned us to serve Him in building the Kingdom of God and not our own little kingdom.

Therefore our guiding desire is to respond completely in obedience to God’s direction on our lives both corporately and personally and leave the results of our efforts to whom they belong, God.

So if you are looking for a place to biblically worship, obediently and sincerely serve the Savior, and grow through the expository proclamation of the inerrant word of God, then accept my personal invitation to come and see what God is doing at Southside.
