Meet the Staff

On September 9th, 2007, we called Rev. Randy Taylor to be our pastor. He is from the Dothan area and brings with him much ministerial experience. He began his career in the ministry in 1990 as a Youth Director, and then became pastor of his first church in 1996. He has a heart for missions and has made trips to Ohio, England, Venezuela, Haiti, and also served as a part of hurricane relief after hurricanes Ivan and Katrina.

He also has led our church on a mission trip revival in Lake City, Michigan. We are very excited to have him and his family to be a part of our church. His wife, Candace is a teacher, and they have a son, Hayes.

Ricky Bruner is our Minister of Music and helps with other administrative duties at the church. He is married to Lucy and their children are – Greg, Joey, Hannah, and Anna Grace. Ricky graduated from the Baptist College of Florida, and has served churches in Alabama and North Carolina. He has been in the ministry since 1981, and has been serving at Southside since 1998.
